This Friday, April 14 is the eighth annual Milwaukee Day, or 414 day. The official (or unofficial?) holiday was created in 2010 by five Milwaukee friends in order to honor and celebrate everything great about the 414 area. Here’s how to celebrate your city this year.
Harley Davidson Museum
The Harley Davidson Museum will be kicking off its celebration of Milwaukee Day by offering free admission to anyone wearing anything with the word MILWAUKEE written on it. If you don’t happen to own anything of the sort, the museum shop will be offering items of the sort for only $4.14. The Harley Davidson Motor Bar and Restaurant will also include a special on their Motor Burger, for only $4.14. The museum will open its doors at 10 a.m. and stay open till 8 p.m. (400 W Canal St, Milwaukee, WI 53201)
